The fifth annual Chicago Cabaret Week takes place Friday, May 8 through Sunday, May 17, 2026! This annual ten-day festival showcases Chicago’s top cabaret artists performing blues, Broadway, burlesque, jazz, R&B, American Songbook, and international music. This year’s schedule includes more than 50 performers in intimate venues throughout Chicagoland.

Anna Caldwell (she/her) is a Chicago-based soprano, writer, and senior marketing associate whose stage credits span more than 30 roles in opera, operetta, and musical theater across the Midwest. Locally, she has performed with Chicago Fringe Opera, The Savoyaires, The Gilbert & Sullivan Opera Company of Chicago, Janus Concert Series (inactive), and Bellissima Opera, among others. She is a member of The Caroling Party. Recent roles include The Narrator in Joseph...Dreamcoat and Kate in Kiss Me, Kate at The People’s Bank Theater in Ohio. In Spring 2026, she played the role of Gianetta in The Gondoliers with The Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Co. of Chicago.

Daina Fischer (she/they) is a Lithuanian-American dramatic soprano based in Chicago, specializing in opera, musical theater, jazz, and a cappella. She has performed across the Midwest and internationally. In addition to her performing career, Daina is an accomplished voice teacher and pedagogue with over twelve years of teaching voice. She currently serves as a voice teacher and music director at Ovation Theater Academy as well as a choir director in Oak Park, IL.

Nikki Krzebiot (she/her) is a Chicago-based soprano, specializing in musical theatre, jazz, and cabaret work.. Known for her original shows, Nikki has self-produced four solo cabarets and spent five years performing with Acts of Kindness Cabaret in and around the Chicagoland area. Outside of cabaret, she is active in the Chicago storefront theatre scene, most recently appearing as Johanna in Kokandy’s Jeff Award-winning production of Sweeney Todd. She joined the Patties as their first non-founding member in 2023.

Michael Oldham (he/him) is a composer, pianist, and music director. Michael keeps very busy around Chicago as a Music Director with The Second City's national touring company, while also hustling as a freelance pianist/MD/producer for cabarets, shows, choirs, and everything in between.

Ross Matsuda is a Chicago-based stage director specializing in opera, operetta, and concert performance. With experience in theater and musical theater, he has directed new plays and classics alike. Ross is also the co-founder and former managing director of The State Theatre of Chicago.

Kyle "Kiki" Russell (he/him) has been part of the cabaret scene in Chicago for 15+ years performing first with The Chicago Cabaret Project and then as a founding member and Artistic Director for the Chicago's Favorite MAN-band a.k.a. The Beaus. He's also been seen around Chicago going solo with his jazz show KIKIGIGI and as a featured performer at The Darling in West Loop.
